LO2: Initial Ideas

The first Sandersons Christmas advert:


Pros:
-has conventions of a Christmas advert, the store looks like a Christmas wonderland
-looks professional, uses professional camera work
-quick, delivers the point successfully

Cons:
-could be considered to short
-The staff are not professional actors
-the song delivers the meaning rather than the visuals

HOW TO MAKE OUR ADVERT STAND OUT:
We are going to create an advert which contains a VOX POX in order to show case the "voice of the people" in order for our advert to have a more personal appeal to the audience. We will also use the message and hashtag "FIND YOUR CHRISTMAS" in order to enforce the idea of a personal Christmas experience and in order for the audience to use the hashtag in their social media, meaning it will spread and be considered free advertising.

Good morning/afternoon/evening Emily,

Myself and George Allan are happy to create you promotional material for your upcoming Christmas campaign. In order to get the ball rolling as soon as possible, would we be able to arrange a meeting the week commencing the 30th so we can provide you with our ideas and further discuss any possible constraints for the project. In this meeting we are ready to negotiate a deadline which is mutually beneficial so that we are able to complete this project  to a high standard.
